880 parents in the Los Gatos, Monte Sereno and Saratoga
communities responded to our survey. Thank you! Here are
some of the results:
100 percent say it is not OK for teens to drink when parents
aren't home. 86 percent believe teens that drink take
alcohol from homes without parents knowing.
46 percent don't know what their liability would be if someone
else's child were found drinking in their home.

- Keep track of alcohol in your home.
- Store alcohol in a locked place.
- Call the host of the party your child
is attending beforehand. Ask whether adults will be present,
and what the alcohol
policy is.
